Gurpreet Singh Walia is a distinguished consulting professional holding a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering along with an MBA in Energy and Finance. He is the Co-Founder of GreenOps and has an extensive 10-year tenure at Gensol Group. During his time there, Gurpreet played a pivotal role in overseeing Consulting & EPC Operations as part of the Management Team, handling key accounts, and significantly contributing to the company's growth and success.

Gurpreet's expertise spans across implementing core processes, exploring international markets, and delving into specialized segments within the solar industry such as floating solar and airports. His proficiency in navigating the complexities of the market has positioned him as a thought leader in Solar Technology, evident through his speaking engagements at various conferences.

At Gensol Group, Gurpreet was instrumental in building and mentoring a team of over 300 engineers, paving the way for the successful completion of more than 15 GW of solar projects. His strategic acumen and deep industry knowledge have led to Gensol Group boasting the largest and most advanced consulting team in the Solar Energy domain in India, catering to esteemed clients including major IPPs, State Governments, and Private Equity Funds.

In addition to his operational and technical roles, Gurpreet significantly contributed to areas such as Fundraising, Corporate Legal Affairs, Contract Management, and Ecosystem Partnership Development. He played a key role in the strategic diversification of the group with endeavors like the 100% Electric Mobility Platform (Blu-Smart) and Clean Energy AI Powered SaaS platform (Prescinto). Gurpreet's educational background includes an MBA from Thapar University, a BTech. from Chitkara University, and a Diploma from Thapar University.
