Founder, Native Women Ride & The Indigenous Cycling Collective
Guarina Lopez is the Founder and Director of Bright Path Collective, a multi-sport program based in Washington, D.C. This initiative is dedicated to providing free movement events, clinics, and classes specifically for the local BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community, with a particular focus on youth engagement.23
In addition to her role at Bright Path Collective, Lopez is also involved with Native Women Ride, an organization that promotes cycling among Indigenous women and advocates for their representation in outdoor activities.14 Her contributions to both organizations highlight her commitment to inclusivity and empowerment within the sports community.
