Gretchen Demps Simmons is a seasoned media professional turned successful real estate agent, event planner, and consultant hailing from Orlando, Florida. With a degree in Communications from the University of South Florida, Gretchen honed her skills in clerical positions at local radio and TV stations before moving on to become a radio news producer, reporter/anchor, community newspaper reporter, and television associate producer in the Dayton, Ohio and Jacksonville, Florida markets. Following a career change, Gretchen served as the Program Development Coordinator for the Black Community Ministry of the Diocese of Orlando before transitioning into her current role as a highly respected and accomplished Realtor for La Rosa Realty Downtown Orlando LLC. In addition to her professional work, Gretchen is also an experienced event planner and consultant, serving as the President/CEO of Our Gatherings, LLC.

A skilled communicator and community leader, Gretchen remains active in several professional organizations, including the Tampa Organization of Black Affairs, Suncoast Black Communicators/Tampa Bay Association of Black Communicators, and the National Association of Black Journalists. Her diverse skill set and friendly demeanor, combined with her passion for good pool or beach, vacation, movie, house party, and bargain, make her a valued asset in the Orlando community and beyond.
