Gregory Prisament is a Software Lead with a strong design acumen and entrepreneurial mindset. Currently serving as the Director of Software at Boxbot, a company revolutionizing automated shelving and parcel handling, Gregory is instrumental in leading and expanding the software team. He focuses on implementing top development practices and prioritizing customer-centric product delivery. Prior to Boxbot, Gregory was part of Intrinsic, an Industrial Automation venture under Alphabet. His background includes significant roles at Google and X, notably contributing to the Everyday Robot Project.
In the past, Gregory initiated Canopy, an open-source IoT platform, and developed OpenGL ES 2.0 drivers for NVIDIA Tegra. He also played a part in shaping the OpenGL 3.0 specification. Notably, he contributed to popular video game titles at Insomniac Games like the Ratchet & Clank series and Resistance: Fall of Man. Beyond his professional commitments, Gregory has interests in photography, fractal art, and DIY loudspeaker construction.
