Gregory Martin, Ph.D.
Gregory Martin, PhD, is an accomplished executive, entrepreneur, engineer, and scientist with over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. He has a passion for taking medical technologies from concept to commercialization, and has managed research, development, and regulatory affairs teams in both start-up and corporate environments. Dr. Martin has held leadership roles in multiple medical device companies, ranging from small start-ups to publicly-traded corporations.
Dr. Martin has a strong background in biomedical engineering, having earned a BS, MS, and PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also has experience as a senior lecturer of biomedical engineering and director of the Coulter Program at Boston University. He is currently the principal at Tremont Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm he founded.
Dr. Martin has a track record of success in executive management, team building, change/crisis management, operations, clinical research, product development, product launch, regulatory affairs, business development, manufacturing, and marketing. He has also served on scientific advisory boards for Seacoast Technologies, Inc. and CryoCath Technologies, Inc. and as a principal investigator for the World Health Organization.
