Greg Jao

Gregory Jao serves as the Senior Assistant to the President for Diversity and External Relations at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA.12 In this role, he leads InterVarsity's efforts to partner with other ministries, churches, and networks, shapes the organization's leadership communications, and guides InterVarsity's response to challenges from campus administrators.1

Professional Background

Prior to his ministry with InterVarsity, Greg worked as an employee benefits attorney in Chicago.12 He has been with InterVarsity for several years, taking on various leadership roles within the organization.

Education

Greg is a graduate of The University of Chicago, where he earned a B.A. in English in 1990. He also holds a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, which he obtained in 1994.1

Greg is an accomplished author and speaker. He has written several books, including:
