Gregory Eow

Gregory Eow is currently the President of the Center for Research Libraries (CRL), where he is responsible for setting strategic directions and overseeing CRL programming and services.12 Before his tenure at CRL, which began in August 2019, Eow served as the Associate Director for Collections at MIT Libraries from 2015 to 2019.2 He has also held positions at Harvard University as the Charles Warren Bibliographer for American History and at Yale University Library as the Kaplanoff Librarian for American, British, and Commonwealth History.2
Eow's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hendrix College, a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Ph.D. in History from Rice University.23 His career has been marked by significant contributions to library collections and scholarly communications, as well as digital preservation and metadata creation.12
