I enjoy success in my work as a software engineer because it so often allows me to leverage my background in hardware to understand the root cause of complex problems and develop more well-rounded and thought-forward solutions. This history affords me the creativity to design, build, and deliver new and innovative products and solutions to fully address market demands.
While I have long enjoyed the ever-changing world that technology exposes me to, my nearly six years’ of entrepreneurship has constantly reminded me that the entire purpose of technology is to serve users. Innovative technology without a market doesn’t do much good. Regular and direct interaction with customers has provided me perspective that I would have never gotten as a software engineer alone.
The types of organizations to which I offer the greatest value are experiencing:
- Desire to accelerate time-to-market to gain competitive advantage or reduce costs
- Plan to expand existing products into new markets or build new products for those they currently serve
- Operate in both the hardware and software spaces and need help crossing back and forth to optimize product performance, save development costs and appeal to new customer bases
