Greg Whitfield is a seasoned professional with a strong background in Economics and Finance, holding a B.Bus Sci degree from the University of Cape Town where he majored in Economics and Finance and completed an Honours in Finance. Greg's professional journey began in investment banking, where he spent 4 years working in prominent financial hubs like London and Cape Town.
Transitioning from the financial sector to entrepreneurship, Greg, alongside his school mate Martin Rose, co-founded their company in 2011. They later launched Dineplan, a restaurant reservation software, after exploring various business avenues. Despite the initial challenges, their dedication and hard work have propelled Dineplan to success, with ongoing efforts to enhance its features and expand its capabilities.
Greg's educational pursuits also include studying for CFA Level 2 at the CFA Institute and attending Michaelhouse. Prior to his role as Director at Dineplan, Greg held positions as Director at ComeDine and as Equity Market Support at Macquarie Securities. His vast experiences in finance, entrepreneurship, and software development have shaped him into a versatile professional with a knack for innovation and success.
