Greg Starnes

Greg Starnes is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in securities offerings, venture capital, business transactions, and real estate, practicing law with Woods, Fuller, Shultz & Smith PC in Sioux Falls, South Dakota since 2001.

He specializes in working with renewable energy companies, particularly in the biofuels and wind energy industries, assisting in organization, equity capitalization, financing, operating contracts, and intellectual property issues.

Apart from renewable energy, Greg has also worked with entrepreneurs and start-ups across various industries such as hotels, resorts, agriculture, sports teams, retail, restaurants, bars, casinos, real estate, and bio-technology.

In addition to his legal career, Greg is actively involved in the Ice Sports Association, where he serves as a founder, director, and legal counsel, focusing on promoting youth ice sports.
