Greg Needel is the CEO and Co-Owner of REV Robotics, a company he co-founded in 2014 with David Yanoshak.45 Based in Carrollton, Texas, REV Robotics specializes in educational robotics and provides high-quality products to over 190 countries globally.41
Needel has a background in mechanical engineering, graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2007.3 He has extensive experience in product development and design, with a particular focus on consumer products.3 Throughout his career, Needel has worked in various roles, including:

Needel is passionate about education, design, and product development. He believes that technology is a great equalizer and aims to make STEAM skills accessible to all.3 Under his leadership, REV Robotics has grown to become a leader in the educational robotics market, serving over 10,000 school robotics programs and reaching more than 100,000 students each year.5
In addition to his work at REV Robotics, Needel is also involved in competitive robotics. He captains Team Switchback on the TV show BattleBots and serves as a lead robot inspector for FIRST Robotics competitions.6 His commitment to innovation is evident in his numerous patents.3
REV Robotics has been recognized for its rapid growth, being named one of the top 100 fastest-growing privately held companies in North Texas in 2019 and 2020 by Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business.4
