Greg Kress

Dr. Greg Kress is a seasoned entrepreneur with a strong background in hardware engineering and product design, excelling in concept development, rapid prototyping, research and development, team-building, and project management.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering, a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and a B.S.E. in Engineering Physics (Summa cum Laude) from the University of Michigan.

Greg is the Founder & CEO of Imagia, and previously served as the Senior Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund. He has also been involved in various capacities at Stanford University, including as an Adjunct Lecturer and Executive Director of ME310 Design Innovation.

Prior to his current roles, Greg founded and led multiple organizations such as Radicand, Inc., Pearl, and has been a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund. He has also contributed to the growth and development of companies like IMVU and Luidia through his expertise in design research and engineering.

His journey in academia includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University, Lecturer & Researcher at Aalto University, and a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Greg has displayed versatility as a former DJ & On-Air Personality at WCBN 88.3FM, showcasing his passion for diverse interests outside the realms of engineering and entrepreneurship.
