Greg Harrell-Edge

Greg Harrell-Edge is a dedicated individual who has been applying entrepreneurial principles to the social good sector as the Executive Director of CoachArt since 2016.

CoachArt, a nationwide nonprofit organization, offers free arts and athletics lessons for children impacted by chronic illness through the innovative CoachArt Connect app, functioning as a 2-sided marketplace similar to Lyft or AirBnB.

Under Greg's leadership, CoachArt has achieved significant milestones such as nationwide expansion, a 4x increase in monthly lessons, and nearly doubling revenue post the launch of the CoachArt Connect app.

Driven by the vision of creating over 1 million smiles annually for children affected by serious illness, Greg continues to lead CoachArt towards its ambitious goal of providing 1 million+ lessons each year.

Aside from his role at CoachArt, Greg Harrell-Edge has a diverse background having worked for Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign and contributed digital content for Jimmy Kimmel Live.

He holds a BA in Government from the University of Virginia and has a background in various roles including Executive Director, Development Director, Partner, and Field Organizer in organizations like National High Five Project, Donor Magnet, Friends of the Urban Forest, and Barack Obama's Campaign For Change.
