Greg Chu

Greg Chu brings a wealth of expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and biomedical physics to his current role as Director of Machine Learning Engineering at Inspire, as well as to previous positions at GumGum, NantMobile™, and Deep Learning Sandbox. Greg's impressive academic background includes a Ph.D. Candidate in Biomedical Physics, Image Analysis Track at University of California, Los Angeles, as well as an M.S. in Biomedical Physics, and a B.S. in Physics/Math.

Greg's industry experience spans roles such as Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Senior Computer Vision Scientist, as well as Consultant, Blogger, and Software Developer. At Inspire, Greg brings his expertise in deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing to help the company innovate in the renewable energy industry.

With an interest in advancing technology and artificial intelligence for the greater good, Greg is constantly seeking ways to make machine learning more accessible, ethical, and impactful.
