Greg Bruno is an Engineering Fellow I in Teradata's Technical and Innovation Office Research Team, focusing on advanced development for technology enablers.
Before joining Teradata, Greg was the co-founder and Vice President of Engineering at StackIQ, known for developing the open-source 'Stacki' solution for rapid server deployment.
His earlier experience includes co-founding the open-source Rocks Cluster Group at SDSC, where he contributed to the Rocks Cluster Distribution, empowering users to build and manage clusters.
During his initial tenure at Teradata, Greg spent a decade refining cluster management software for some of the world's largest databases.
Greg holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from UCSD, emphasizing parallel file systems, and a B.S. in Mathematics & Computer Science from Pepperdine University.
