Greg Andres

Greg Andres is a highly experienced white collar criminal defense attorney and partner at Davis Polk. He specializes in civil and criminal trials, with a focus on regulatory and criminal investigations.

With over a decade of experience at the U.S. Department of Justice, Greg has held several senior positions, including Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division and Chief of the Criminal Division at the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Greg Andres played a pivotal role as the lead trial lawyer in the successful prosecution of Paul Manafort during his tenure with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He returned to Davis Polk in 2019 after this assignment.

His educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from the University of Notre Dame.

Apart from his legal career, Greg Andres has been involved in academia as an Adjunct Professor at New York University School of Law and in community service as a Rural Community Development Volunteer with the Peace Corps.
