Grant Stenger
Trading Intern at Jane Street - CS+Math at USC - VP at Contrary Capital
Grant Stenger is a junior at the University of Southern California (USC), where he is pursuing a double major in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science as a merit scholar. He has demonstrated leadership as the Vice President of the student branch of USC's Center for AI in Society (CAIS++), focusing on using machine learning to tackle societal challenges. Stenger has also completed Ph.D.-level courses in computer science and mathematics and is a venture partner at Contrary Capital.
Currently, he is a Quant Trading Intern at Jane Street and part of the AQR Early Engagement Program. His previous experience includes roles as an undergraduate researcher at USC, a machine learning intern at Numerai, and a quantitative research intern at QuantRes. Additionally, he co-founded the Silicon Valley Design Thinking Institute and has participated in various academic and extracurricular activities, including winning awards for his projects at hackathons.1
