Grant Shonkwiler is a video game industry veteran who has made a name for himself as an expert in leadership, team building, and community management. He is the founder of his own consulting business, Shonkventures, through which he provides his expertise in project management tools such as Hansoft, JIRA, and Target Process to assist development teams in hitting their milestones.

Grant's background in game design and development started with studying for his Bachelor of Science at Full Sail University, where he honed his programming and game design skills. He started his career as a Game Programmer at AMI Entertainment Network Inc, and quickly progressed to become their Lead Game Designer. He has also worked as a Technical Producer at id Software and as a Producer at Epic Games.

Grant has also been involved in various industry organizations, such as GameDevDrinkUp, where he served as an organizer, and the Game Developers Foundation, where he was appointed as the Executive Director. As a public speaker and panelist, Grant has shared his leadership and game industry expertise at events such as the Game Developers Conference and PAX Prime.
