Grant Olsen is an experienced professional in the field of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), entrepreneurship, strategy, investments, and management consulting with over 20 years of experience. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Finance from USC and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Olsen currently serves as the VP of Corporate Development, Business Development, and Ventures at ResMed, where he is responsible for leading M&A and venture investment strategies in areas such as Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Autonomous Systems, augmented reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), connected health, healthcare IT (HCIT), sensors, and bioinformatics. Prior to joining ResMed, he was responsible for M&A at Qualcomm's emerging businesses, helping to complete acquisitions, divestitures, and investments across a variety of sectors. He also served as the director of New Business Development at EMC and in several corporate development roles at firms such as Life Technologies (acquired by Thermo Fisher), Zynga, and the California State Automobile Association (CSAA). Olsen has also served as a consultant at Black & Veatch, Leigh Fisher Associates (KPMG Spin-off), and founded AirportLink (acquired by Syscom), an enterprise SaaS company. He has successfully raised close to $500 million in capital, advised numerous startups, and helped lead the development of several M&A and venture investment strategies.
