Grady Roberts

Grady W. Roberts is the CEO and founder of GWR Equities, LLC, a multifamily investment firm based in Houston, Texas. With over 28 years of experience in the real estate industry, he has built a substantial career focusing on property acquisitions and management.

Education and Early Career

Roberts graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. He spent 19 years at HFF, L.P., a publicly traded commercial real estate brokerage and investment banking firm, where he held various roles including Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of the Houston office. During his time there, he was instrumental in generating $41.4 billion in real estate transactions, financing over 50,000 multifamily units across 39 cities and 21 states in the U.S..13

GWR Equities

Under Roberts' leadership, GWR Equities has focused on acquiring multifamily properties located near existing and emerging business sectors. Since its inception, the firm has successfully acquired 31 properties comprising more than 7,000 units across Texas, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina.23 The company emphasizes long-term commitment and personal oversight of each property to enhance tenant experiences while increasing asset value for investors.4

Personal Life

A native of San Antonio, Texas, Roberts has resided in Houston since 1991. He is actively involved in community service as a member of several advisory councils at the University of Texas and serves as President of the Board for the Clayton Dabney Foundation. He is married and has four children.13
