Education and Background
Grace holds a JD from Harvard Law School and an MPH with a Health Policy Concentration from Harvard University's T.H. Chan School of Public Health, both obtained in 2019.1 She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a BA with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 2015.1
Professional Experience
At Goodwin, Grace has been involved in various stages of patent litigation, including discovery, motion practice, pretrial proceedings, and trial.1 Her work focuses on representing life science companies in litigation under the Hatch-Waxman Act and the Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA), as well as other district court patent litigation and proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).1
Prior to joining Goodwin, Grace gained experience as an IP Litigation summer associate at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP.1 She has also been a Fulbright Fellow and a researcher at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.1
Pro Bono and Additional Experience
Grace maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting veterans in VA benefits appeals and representing clients in asylum appeals.1 In 2023, she completed a six-month rotation with the Kings County (Brooklyn) District Attorney's Office, serving as a special Assistant District Attorney and prosecuting numerous felony cases.1
Recognition and Leadership
Grace has been selected to participate in the 2024 Pathfinders program by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).2 This program is designed for diverse lawyers who have demonstrated high potential and aims to provide tools for developing professional networks and leadership skills.2
