He holds a Ph.D./M.Pharm/B.Pharm in Pharmacy from Jadavpur University and has pursued further studies in Industrial Pharmacy at various prestigious institutions worldwide including National University of Singapore, Ghent University in Belgium, and the University of Manitoba in Canada.

With a strong educational background, Goutam has held key leadership positions in several prominent organizations, showcasing his versatile skill set and vast experience in the field.

Currently, he serves as the President of R&D Formulations at Ipca Laboratories Limited, where he drives research and development initiatives.

Prior to his role at Ipca Laboratories, Goutam founded American Pharma Solutions, LLC in the USA, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and strategic vision.

His career highlights also include serving as the Sr. Vice President of Product Development at AiViva Biopharma, Inc., and as the Chief Scientific Officer at Genovi Pharmaceuticals in California, USA.

Throughout his career, Goutam Muhuri has held significant positions at various renowned companies such as Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd., Teva Pharmaceuticals, Barr Laboratories, Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Alpharma, Shire Pharmaceuticals, and Biovail, where he contributed his expertise in pharmaceutical development and research.
