Goutam Mattagaj

Goutam Mattagaj is an experienced Assistant Professor at Seemanta Engineering College since 2010, with a passion for education and training in the field of PhotoVoltaic solar technology.

He also serves as a Guest Faculty and Trainer at various esteemed institutions such as National Power Training Institutes Eastern Region (NPTI-ER), AMITY University, Kolkata, and Bengal Engineering College, Durgapur, imparting knowledge to MNRE sponsored Suryamitra students and USAID PACE-D program participants.

In addition to his academic roles, Goutam has applied his expertise in semiconductor technology to lead training sessions for corporates at UST GLOBAL, Bangalore, fostering technological advancement in the industry.

His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Brighter Globe Solar Solution (BGSS), a solar firm that offers technology consultations, installation services, and turnkey solutions for solar projects ranging from rooftop to ground-based systems.

Goutam Mattagaj's academic journey includes a Postgraduate degree in Electronics from the University of Glasgow, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Anna University, and a Diploma in Computer Technology from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Kancheepuram.

With a background in academia, industry, and entrepreneurship, Goutam Mattagaj is a versatile professional with a zeal for advancing solar technology and semiconductor innovations.
