Gordon Cressman
Gordon Cressman is a senior independent consultant with over 30 years of experience in utilizing information and communications technologies for international development.
During his tenure at RTI International, where he served for more than 36 years until January 2020, Gordon led a team of experts in information and communication technology and monitoring and evaluation, focusing on health, education, and governance projects globally.
His expertise spans all phases of information system design and implementation, encompassing assessment, strategic planning, operational planning, systems integration, procurement, installation, training, and operation.
With a strong background in ICT applications related to health, education, and governance, Gordon has supported organizations in 32 developing countries, enabling them to leverage ICT effectively through sustainable strategies tailored to local contexts.
Gordon Cressman's notable projects include pioneering an electronic-first medical record system in Africa, developing ICT solutions for the Ministry of Health in Iraq, and spearheading the implementation of an electronic real estate registration system for the Ministry of Justice in Iraq.
His contributions also extend to enhancing e-Learning via ICT in Jordan's education sector and founding Wireless Access for Health in the Philippines, a partnership aimed at leveraging electronic medical records to enhance patient care.
