Gordana Markovic
Gordana Markovic is a highly experienced professional with a vast knowledge of regional development, governance, and institutional and project management. She boasts a master's degree in European Integration and Regional Development from the University of Szeged, Hungary. Throughout her career, she has worked in various international organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM). In her role as the Head of the South East Europe Office at the Regional Cooperation Council in Sarajevo, Bosnia, Gordana led efforts to foster regional cooperation among governments, civil society organizations, and the private sector. She is an expert in project proposal writing, fundraising, institutional development, and policy analysis, with extensive experience in the Western Balkans, Eastern Europe, and the EU.
