Gonzalo Rosales

Gonzalo Rosales is a creative individual who discovered his passion for coding during his high school years while being part of the robotics team, steering away from his initial dream of becoming a music composer. He is dedicated to inspiring minorities to explore the world of programming and pursue careers in computer science.

Having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Boston University, Gonzalo has gained diverse experiences through various roles at esteemed organizations. These include internships in data science at Associated Press X Justice Media Co-Lab and BU Center for Antiracist Research within BU Spark!, as well as program management and software engineering/program management at Microsoft and participation in Google's CodeU program.

Furthermore, Gonzalo has contributed his skills as an instructor at iD Tech Camps, a computer programmer at Boston University Rocket Propulsion Group, a programmer at Array of Things Chicago, a delegate at the Japanese House of Representatives, and a team captain at FIRST. Additionally, he has served as a mentor at Lane Tech College Prep's Lane Tech Stars program and held positions at Gregory Transport 1 Inc.

Through his diverse experiences and educational background, Gonzalo Rosales stands as an advocate for diversity and inclusion in the field of computer science, aiming to motivate individuals from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue their passion for coding.
