Research Analyst, ESG & Impact Investing at Dow Jones & The Wall Street Journal

I support the Group ESG function and boost the bank’s internal and external ESG profile by researching, analysing, advising, reporting and processing ESG-related data, issues, themes, and trends affecting companies, industries and financial markets regionally and internationally. 

My workflow implies:
• Leading the Bank's ESG rating and research processes
• Following the latest ESG trends, market analysis and regulatory changes to help the Bank understand impact
• Designing new sustainability/ESG Group-wide policies applied to products and services
• Supporting FAB's alignment to market trends and regulatory changes
• Working closely with the ESG Strategy team to ensure the adoption of global best practices
• Interacting with internal and external stakeholders to understand ESG appetite
• Collaborating with the ESG Learning function to ensure market insights and trends are incorporated in training and awareness modules for employees
• Preparing ESG analysis for internal and external stakeholders like customers, RMs, FAB business units, EXCO
• Reviewing, updating and maintaining sustainability-related content on external and internal portals of the Bank
• Leading the development of internal and external comms for the CSO
• Communicating ESG developments to relevant internal and external stakeholders such as rating agencies, regulators or investors 
• Supporting the CSO with positioning at external events, while building media profile and brand
• Authoring or co-authoring research papers for internal/external consumption, with the aim to create awareness and drive change
• Authoring ESG updates distributed internally and externally
• Driving the completion of sustainability related questionnaires, disclosure requirements and initiatives by investors or regulators
• Ensuring timely reporting and highlighting key developments to senior management as per the governance and reporting framework
• Underwriting special projects and representing the Bank in external events
