Gloria Njiu is a proficient corporate intrapreneur with a rich background in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Telecommunication, and banking sectors within the East Africa (EA) region.

With a strong track record, Gloria specializes in managing Digital Financial services, cultivating and overseeing Strategic partnerships, launching Digital Products, and leading Digital transformation in today's digital landscape.

Currently positioned as the Head of Digital Business at NCBA TZ, Gloria supervises the Digital business team and Digital bank, notably overseeing M-Pawa with over 9 million subscribers. This service offers Digital savings and lending solutions in collaboration with Vodacom Tanzania.

Educationally, Gloria holds a B.Tech in Information Technology from Hindustan University, is certified in Digital Money from Tufts University, Digital Products Innovation from Helix Institute of DFS, and Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption from INSEAD. She is also pursuing an MBA at the African Leadership University, ALUSB.

Furthermore, Gloria participated in various programs such as the Mandela Washington Fellowship YALI focused on Business Management and Networking at Drake University, and the Female Future Leadership program concentrating on Leadership, Rhetoric, and Board competence at ESAMI.

In her professional journey, Gloria has held pivotal roles including Business Delivery Manager at Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA Group), Digital Products Manager at FINCA Impact Finance, and various positions at Vodacom such as Product Manager, Act. Head of Department for M-PESA Sales and Distribution, Distribution Support Manager for M-PESA, and Billing Administrator for M-PESA Application and Tech Support. Gloria also served as an IT Systems Support Engineer at Technology Associates LtD.
