Glenn Magpantay

Glenn D. Magpantay is an accomplished Executive Director and Civil Rights Attorney with a successful track record in the non-profit 501c3 industry and constitutional and civil rights law.

His expertise includes Executive Management, Nonprofit Organizational Administration, Legal Compliance, Fundraising, Media Relations, Staff Talent Development, and Public Policy Advocacy.

With a strong legal background, he is also involved in teaching various courses such as Public Interest Lawyering, Race & Law, and Asian American Studies.

He obtained a Doctor of Law - JD from New England Law in Boston and a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Sociology and Social Sciences from Stony Brook University.

Throughout his career, Glenn D. Magpantay has been associated with renowned organizations such as Magpantay & Associates, National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance, Brooklyn Law School, and Asian American Legal Defense & Education Fund.

His previous roles include serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Asian American Studies at Hunter College and as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University in the City of New York.

Additionally, he has contributed to various organizations in roles such as Immigration Law Clerk at Catholic Charities Legal Service, Democracy Program Director at Asian American Legal Defense & Education Fund, and Community Organizer at Long Island Progressive Coalition/ Citizen Action.

As a former Executive Director at the University of California Student Association and President at SASU - the U.S. Student Association NY Affiliate, Glenn D. Magpantay has demonstrated his leadership and organizational skills.

His passion for advocacy and grassroots organizing is evident through his involvement as a Certified Continuing Legal Education Instructor at the Asian American Bar Association of New York and as a Grassroots Organizing Trainer at Midwest Academy.
