Glenn Carroll
Co-Author, Making Great Strategy: Arguing for Organizational Advantage
Glenn Carroll is the Adams Distinguished Professor of Management at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a position he has held since July 2018. He is also a Professor of Sociology by courtesy in Stanford’s Department of Sociology. His academic background includes a Ph.D. and M.A. in Sociology from Stanford University, as well as a B.A. in Sociology and Urban Studies from Indiana University Bloomington.14

Carroll has an extensive academic career, having previously served as the Laurence W. Lane Professor of Organizations at Stanford from 2001 to 2018.
