    He also co-manages the MD Anderson Moon Shots program, aimed at uniting basic research, drug discovery, and clinical resources to significantly reduce mortality rates across various cancers.

    Under his guidance, institutional platforms have been developed to bolster drug discovery endeavors and identify clinically relevant biomarkers to support novel therapeutic approaches.

    Dr. Draetta holds a Specialty Diploma in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology and a Medical Doctorate from Università degli Studi di Napoli 'Federico II.'
