Gisbert Schadek

Gisbert Schadek has been involved in the field of pension provision since 1987, starting out as a civil servant in the statutory pension insurance sector focusing on the first pillar. Since 1993, he has served as the managing director of VdW Versorgungsverband and as a board member of Entgelt und Rente AG, overseeing 50 employees, where his primary focus has been on company pension schemes (bAV).

Over the past decade, a significant area of interest for Gisbert Schadek has been the complete digitalization of processes related to company pension schemes, including Employee Self Service, administration, financing through robo advisors, pension disbursement, and provision calculation. These processes are streamlined through a web application offered as Software as a Service (SaaS). Additionally, Gisbert has played a key role in establishing new financing products such as VdW Pensionstrust (Group CTA) and VdW Pensionsfonds AG, which remain modern and in high demand.

His educational background includes studying for the 2nd state examination through Referendariat and completing his studies in law (1st state examination) at the University of Cologne. Currently, he holds a position as a board member at Entgelt und Rente AG.
