Girija Pande

Girija Pande is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in International business, who transitioned into entrepreneurship by co-founding Apex Avalon Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore in 2013.

With a background in International banks and the global tech industry, Girija has been actively involved in Strategy Consulting across various Asian countries like India, Korea, Hong Kong, Bahrain, and Singapore for the past two decades.

His illustrious career includes leadership roles such as Chairman and CEO of ANZ Grindlays Funds Management, as well as Chairman/CEO for the Asia Pacific region at Tata Consultancy Services.

Girija Pande is deeply engaged in the corporate world, serving on numerous boards of both listed and non-listed tech companies, non-profit organizations, and government-linked entities in Singapore.

He holds key positions as a Board Director at organizations like the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, National Healthcare Group, and has served on the boards of Singapore Management University (SMU) and NTU Business School.

Moreover, Girija's advisory roles extend to the Chairman position for the Asia Board of Chain i Q, a Zurich-based global Procurement & Sourcing Company, and as an Advisor to various tech startups and a Fintech fund.

He also contributes to the academic sphere as a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS), a think tank under the National University of Singapore.

Girija Pande's contributions have been recognized with notable awards, including the best CEO award by the Singapore HR Institute and three Social Services Awards by the Singapore Government, culminating in the prestigious National Award - Public Service Medal by the President of Singapore in 2020.

As an author, Girija co-authored the successful book 'The Silk Road Rediscovered,' focusing on building businesses in China and India, published by John Wiley (Amazon) with a foreword by a Director from the Brookings Institute, Washington DC.

His educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from IIM Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering, where he excelled as the First rank holder at Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
