Giovanni Funel is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in operations and manufacturing excellence. He holds an engineering degree from the University of Naples Federico II and has held multiple leadership roles throughout his career in various multinational organizations.

He is the current Head of Operations EAME at Givaudan, a Switzerland-based flavor and fragrance company. Prior to this, he served as the Global Head of Manufacturing Excellence at Givaudan and Head of Operations Europe at Petronas Lubricants International.

Funel also served as a Director at Whirlpool Corporation for several years, where he held various titles such as Industrial Director, Plant Director, Warranty and Quality Director, and Dishwashing Business Manager. Before that, Funel worked at McKinsey & Company, Cisco, Pirelli, and Crown Holdings, Inc.

With his extensive background and expertise in manufacturing, production, and process management, Funel has cultivated a reputation as a visionary leader with a keen eye for problem-solving and efficiency optimization.
