Giorgio Fortunato is a seasoned Marketing and Communications professional with extensive international experience in the renewable energy sector, specializing in functions related to Marketing, Communications, and Public Affairs for Vestas in Asia-Pacific & China.

With close to a decade of involvement in the wind energy industry, Giorgio has actively contributed in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development roles across Europe, China, and South-East Asia, overseeing and supporting wind power projects.

His expertise spans across various key areas such as strategic and organizational communications, external communications, investor relations, media relations, corporate branding, employer branding, product marketing, market intelligence, public affairs, corporate responsibility, people management, and functional leadership.

Giorgio is well-versed in working across diverse cultures and countries, adept at formulating and executing corporate/functional strategies and plans. He holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering and is currently pursuing a dual-degree Executive MBA program with Tsinghua University and INSEAD.
