In his role as a Data Scientist - Research & Development at HumanTotalCare, Gijs is responsible for creating new ideas, leading brainstorm sessions, and working with interdisciplinary teams on prototypes and MVPs. He also creates strategic plans to steer innovation toward supporting company vision and long-term goals. As a Data Scientist, Gijs leverages Big Data to develop innovative business propositions that make organizations data-driven. He collaborates with domain experts and software developers to capture their knowledge and understanding in models and business logic.

Prior to his current position, Gijs was a Data Scientist at Itility. His valuable contributions demonstrated his ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment and deliver successful results that positively impacted multiple industries.
