Gijs Kersten

Gijs Kersten is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background and diverse work experience in innovation, community management, consulting, and intrapreneurship. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Business Administration from Universiteit van Tilburg. Additionally, he has a background in Gymnasium with a focus on Economie & Maatschappij from Bonnefanten College Maastricht.

Gijs currently serves as the Innovation Coordinator at Boskalis, where he drives innovative initiatives within the organization. Prior to this role, he was the Community Manager at Holland ConTech & PropTech, contributing his expertise to building and managing communities. His consulting experience comes from his time as a Consultant at Unica, where he provided valuable insights and solutions to clients. Gijs has also worked as an Intrapreneur-in-Residence specializing in Smart City & IoT at Startupbootcamp, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit within a startup environment. His journey in the corporate world began as a Management Trainee at Unica, where he gained a solid foundation in various aspects of business.
