Gian Fierro

Gian Fierro is a research associate at the University of Bath, focused on developing tools for imaging defects in composite materials using linear and nonlinear ultrasound techniques. Fierro holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from the University of Bath, a Master of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, and a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cape Town. Previously, Fierro served as a researcher at the University of Bath. Fierro's current work is on an EU-funded project called ALAMSA, which focuses on developing a life-cycle autonomous modular system for aircraft's material state evaluation and restoration.
