Giacomo Gorini

Giacomo Gorini is a PhD student at the University of Cambridge with a focus on vaccines. He hails from Rimini, Italy, and is an avid practitioner of Aikido, enjoys playing the guitar, and has a deep passion for science.
His academic journey includes studying at Liceo Classico Giulio Cesare di Rimini for his early education, pursuing a BSc in Biotechnologies from the Università di Bologna, an MSc in Medical Molecular and Cellular Biotechnologies from Libera Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, and currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Veterinary Medicine with a focus on Viral Zoonotics at the University of Cambridge.
Giacomo has been actively involved in several renowned organizations, having served as a Research Fellow at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard. Previously, he held roles as a Postdoctoral Antibody Immunologist at the University of Oxford, a PhD Student, and a Visiting Fellow at the National Institutes of Health - National Cancer Institute. He also interned at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele Milano.
