Gia Garrett is a Stanford University graduate with a B.A. in Human Biology focused on Infectious Disease and Ethical Medicine. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
During her academic journey, Gia has been actively involved in various organizations and roles. She served as a Fellow at Project Horseshoe Farm, a Research Assistant at the Wu Lab in the Stanford Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, and an Intern and Research Assistant at Emory Winship Cancer Institute.
Gia also showcased her leadership skills as the Event Logistics and Education Director at Stanford Dance Marathon, and gained valuable experience working as an Office Assistant at Stanford's Flow Physics and Computational Engineering Group. Additionally, she contributed to the development of young talent as an Assistant Violin Instructor with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Kids with Strings Program.
