Ghanim Kashwani
PhD, CEng, MICE, CEnv, CSci, CMgr, GradIOSH
Dr. Ghanim Kashwani is a highly accomplished and pioneering UAE National in the field of Civil Engineering.
He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK. Notably, Dr. Kashwani is the first Emirati to be a Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng) (MICE) from the prestigious Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), UK.
With a strong academic-industrial background, Dr. Kashwani is also a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) (MSSE) and a Chartered Manager (CMgr) (MCMI). He obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Civil Engineering from the American University of Sharjah (AUS).
Dr. Kashwani brings significant industrial experience, having served as a Team Leader at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) for numerous years. Additionally, he is recognized as a Chartered Scientist (CSci) and a member of GradIOSH in the UK.
His research interests cover a range of topics including construction materials, safety engineering, and fire engineering, with numerous publications in reputable international journals.
In 2019, Dr. Kashwani was honored by being inducted into the Wall of Fame of the American University of Sharjah Alumni.
