Gert holds a 1st class Masters of Engineering with Honours in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with Management from The University of Edinburgh.

His educational journey includes a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with Renewable Energy from the National University of Singapore.

Throughout his career, Gert has held key positions at renowned organizations like Emerton, Charles River Associates, ENGIE, Tallinn University of Technology, BP, and Eesti Energia.

He has experience as a Case Team Lead, Strategy Consultant, Senior Associate, Distributed Energy Solutions Developer, New Business Energy Consultant, Energy Storage Technical Services Officer, as well as various internships in the energy sector.
