Gert Mentens is a versatile professional with a background in information technology, sports technology, business, and project management. He has pursued numerous educational opportunities and possesses a Master's degree in addition to being an Industrial Engineer. His professional experience includes roles such as Test Manager at Euroclear, Senior Business Analyst at Panega Sports, and Owner and Managing Director of both Golf IT United and WHIZZGOLF. He has also worked in consulting positions at Tesco, KBC Global Services, Orqua/Centric, Cap Gemini, and Arianne II.

Mentens brings expertise in project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and ISTQB training, as well as experience in promoting risk mitigation in complex IT projects. He has also served as a Belgian Ambassador for Testing & Finance 2012. Mentens' business interests have been focused primarily on sports technologies including his work with Golf IT United and his current role as Managing Director of WHIZZGOLF.
