Gert Borremans

Gert Borremans is a seasoned actuary with nearly 15 years of experience advising large corporations and pension funds on retirement and risk benefits.

His career began in 2005 at Hewitt Associates, now part of Aon Hewitt, where he worked on actuarial projects focusing on funding and accounting valuations for pension plans, transformations of benefit plans, and pension fund administration.

In 2013, he transitioned to the International Retirement and Investment team, assisting multinational corporations in managing cross-border pension funds, fund setup, financing plans, asset allocation, financial reporting, and accounting valuations.

Gert holds a certification as an actuary in Belgium and is a member of the Institute of Actuaries in Belgium. He serves as the Appointed Actuary for the cross-border multi-employer pension fund United Pensions OFP.

His educational background includes studies in Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Economics, and Wine Sommelier at various institutions such as Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Syntra Antwerpen en Vlaams Brabant, and EHSAL Management School.
