Gerry Murfitt

Gerry Murfitt is a successful Silicon Valley-based angel investor, corporate lawyer, and entrepreneur. He earned an MBA and a JD from the University of California and started his career as a startup attorney at Venture Law Group, working with companies that have become household names, including Hotmail, PayPal, and Yahoo. He later joined the Emerging Companies Group at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, where he advised entrepreneurs, investors, and venture capitalists on a wide range of corporate matters, including equity and debt financing, intellectual property, employment, and compensation. Since then, he has become a managing partner at Venture Counsel Partners and the founder and CEO of InstaRent Global Corporation, a real estate technology company. Over the course of his career, Gerry has advised on hundreds of transactions and is a valuable asset to any project.
