Gerry Mitchell is a versatile and experienced social researcher, writer, teacher, and political activist. With a PhD in Social Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), he has demonstrated a diverse history of working across the sectors. His skills include research, campaigning, event planning, and community engagement. He is a skilled lecturer with a passion for teaching and social policy.
Gerry's educational background includes a Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Cambridge. He also earned a Master of Science in Social Policy and a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Gerry has held various positions in different organizations, including TASC (Think tank for Action on Social Change), Woking Labour, Compass - Together for a Good Society, and CARWARDEN HOUSE COMMUNITY SCHOOL. He has also worked as a Teacher, Research Officer, Visiting Lecturer, and Lecturer at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
