Gerry has held various positions in different organizations, including TASC (Think tank for Action on Social Change), Woking Labour, Compass - Together for a Good Society, and CARWARDEN HOUSE COMMUNITY SCHOOL. He has also worked as a Teacher, Research Officer, Visiting Lecturer, and Lecturer at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Apart from his academic and professional initiatives, Gerry has also volunteered as a Personal Assistant, Helpline Adviser, and English as a Foreign Language Teacher at various organizations.
