Gerro Prinsloo is a Mechatronic Engineer with a focus on intelligent cyber-physical systems, design & control optimization, renewable energy integration, and smart energy systems. He has a strong background in data analysis, project management, multidisciplinary research & development, computer modeling, and technology innovation.

Formerly, Gerro served as an Assistant Professor at The University of New Mexico, Solar Sales Manager at Vivint Solar, Systems engineer, Software architect & lead researcher at Stellenbosch University and The University of New Mexico, Mechatronic design engineer, Systems integration specialist, Data analyst & lead researcher at University of Stellenbosch, Mechatronic design engineer at Stellenbosch University, and had various engineering internships.
