Geraldine Muir

Geraldine Muir is an accomplished university administrator and licensed attorney with an extensive background in strategic and operational planning, regulatory compliance, program assessment, student development, and resource management. Holding a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown Law and a Master's in College Student Personnel Administration, Muir also has a strong background in public speaking and training. Having worked in various capacities as an associate dean, an adjunct instructor of legal issues in higher education and as a former associate at Cooley LLP and Dow Lohnes PLLC, Muir has a wealth of experience in representing postsecondary institutions on matters of institutional accreditation, government regulation, and student-related issues. Moreover, she understands the influence of institutional identity on shared governance and how it affects student development and resource management. Muir is also an alumnus of Syracuse University and The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
