Gerald Lafever

Gerald Lafever is an experienced IT professional with a background in network systems administration. He studied Information Technology at Heald College in Portland, OR, where he completed his Associates of Applied Science Degree. His career began with an IT Desktop Support internship at Peace Health Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA, where he gained hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. He then held positions as a Desktop Administrator at Eclipse Consulting and an IT Support Specialist at NW Priority Credit Union, where he created and managed user accounts, responded to user requests, and configured and deployed end-user equipment. Most recently, he worked as a Software Support Specialist at Capstone Technology.
Throughout his career, Lafever has demonstrated expertise in installation and setup of software, troubleshooting computer and network issues, and providing tier 1 and tier 2 support for users. He has experience with Microsoft software products, MS Office Suite, Windows operating systems, MS Exchange Server, and Active Directory. Additionally, he has excellent communication skills and has gained experience communicating with other healthcare employees.
