Gerald-James Rhodes is an accomplished Art Director of Branding and Collateral Design, recognized in GDUSA's 2019 Responsible Designers to Watch List, with extensive experience spanning over 18 years in the creative studio industry.

His expertise lies in product commercialization, integrated multi-platform campaigns for both Business to Business and Business to Client relations, collaborating closely with clients, donors, and executive directors to develop award-winning branding, advertising, and communication programs for various exhibitions.

Gerald-James Rhodes excels in managing multidisciplinary creative teams to tackle business and marketing design challenges, driving opportunities globally by creating identities and collateral for web, print, and commercial marketing endeavors.

In addition to his professional roles, he established an independent practice centered around culturally competent branding and illustrations tailored for marketing and advertising entities, fueled by his unwavering passion for designing and creating.

Gerald-James Rhodes's educational background encompasses studies in Visual Art, Fine Art, and Graphic Design at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, along with certifications in Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML, Action Script, and C+ Web coding from Rice University. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Art in Graphic Design and Photography at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Throughout his career, Gerald-James Rhodes has held key positions in various organizations, including his current role as the Art Director of Branding and Collateral Design at the Children's Museum of Houston. Previously, he served as the Lead Graphic Designer/Web Designer, Graphic Designer, and Graphic Designer/Photographer at the Children's Museum of Houston, as well as gaining experience at Visual Connections Design Studio.
